Turkey e-Visa Information
The Turkey Visa Online Requirements, introduced in 2013, is a single or multiple-entry visa, that allows stays of 30 or 90 days, depending on the nationality of the passport holder.
Eligible citizens are required to complete the Turkey Visa Online Requirements form to enter the country.
This can be done in a matter of minutes and cuts out the need to go to an Embassy or Consulate.
The Turkey e-Visa is typically valid for 180 days, from the date of issue.
The Turkish e-Visa, which replaces the previous “sticker visa,” was created to expedite the visa application process which in turn allows visitors to save time when applying for a visa and when entering the country.
The e-Visa for Turkey is available for nationals traveling for tourism and business (commerce) purposes.
Travelers that are planning to go to Turkey for other purposes, such as to work or study, should apply through a Turkish Embassy or Consulate.

Turkey Online e-Visa Requirements
Applicants from Turkey e-Visa eligible countries are required to complete the online eVisa application form with information such as personal details and passport information to enter the country for tourist or business purposes or for transit.
To apply for a Turkey tourist online visa, applicants from Turkey eVisa eligible countries, are required to:
- Have a passport valid for at least 60 days beyond the duration of the stay in Turkey.
- Provide a current email address to receive the approved Turkey tourist online visa.
- Provide a credit or debit card to pay the Turkish e-Visa fee.
Upon approval, the traveler will receive the e-Visa for Turkey by email.
They must either bring a digital copy on a mobile device or print a copy of the e-Visa to show to border officials when arriving in Turkish (a printed copy is advisable).
There may be certain additional requirements for supporting documentation depending on your nationality.
Complete the Turkish e-Visa online application
You can fill in a Turkey visa application exclusively online in just a few minutes by supplying personal information such as full name, nationality, and date of birth, and passport data such as the document number and issue/expiry date.
Before submitting the form, make sure you double-check that all the information you supplied is correct and free of errors to avoid any unnecessary delays in processing and approval. If the information on your e-Visa does not fully match the information on your passport, your e-Visa is not valid.
Confirm payment for the e-Visa for Turkey
Before you submit the Turkish e-Visa application form, you also need to confirm your payment method for the visa processing fee. You will need to provide details of a current and valid debit or credit card to securely pay the fee and submit the request for approval.
Receive the approved Turkey online visa
Once you have submitted the Turkish e-Visa application, your request will usually be processed within one (1) business day, and you can expect to receive your approved visa sent to the current email address you provided on the form.
After receiving the e-Visa by email, you will need to take a copy with you when traveling to Turkey to present to border officials alongside your passport on arrival. This can either be a digital version on a phone or device, or a printed copy.
What is the Turkey eVisa?
The Turkish eVisa is an electronic visa that allows citizens from over 100 nationalities to enter the Turkish Republic for tourist or business purposes, without the need for a physical stamp or sticker on their passport. Instead, the eVisa is electronically linked to the applicant’s passport.

Some countries and territories such as Brazil, Denmark, and the United Kingdom, fall under the visa-exemption program to Turkey for tourism.
